This book provides a first-hand account of the struggles of the Assyrian people during World War I when they were faced with genocide at the hands of the Ottoman state, the exodus to Iraq and the efforts to regain their homelands, the events leading to the massacre of Assyrians in Iraq in 1933, as well as the role played by the Assyrians in World War II. The contents of this book is entirely in the Assyrian language.
